The Wales Community Radio Network (WCRN) has unveiled its first Manifesto for Community Radio in Wales, a document setting out a bold vision for strengthening, sustaining, and expanding community radio services across the nation, ahead of the Senedd Elections in May.
The Manifesto outlines four key priorities for future Welsh Governments, developed following on from information recieved by the 12 Ofcom licensed services broadcasting in Wales.

The Wales Community Radio Network received £100,000 from Welsh Government/Creative Wales, which supported 11 licensed community radio stations in Wales and led to the creation of the first Community Radio in Wales Report.
Through the distribution of funding, WCRN was able to better understand the needs, challenges and successes of Community Radio in Wales, and how the network can better support stations in the future.
