The Wales Community Radio Network (WCRN) exists to:

• Represent Wales' thriving Community Radio Sector,
• Respond on behalf of the sector to consultations by the Welsh Government, DCMS, OFCOM and Advertising Agencies,
• Work with Government to develop a more sustainable funding model for Community Radio in Wales, 
• Develop a strategy to sell Welsh Community Radio to media agencies and businesses on behalf of the sector,
• Support the establishment of new Community Radio stations,
• Hold quarterly virtual meetings with the sector to help guide its work,
• Hold a yearly conference at a different Community Radio station (or nearby) each year,

Membership to the Welsh Community Radio Network is free, thanks to support by the University of South Wales.

This Mission Statement was initially agreed by Member Stations on 22nd July and will be reviewed yearly.
